Jaggery kheer


  • ½ (80 grams) Rice
  • 4-6 Cardamom
  • 2 tbsp Raisins
  • 8-9 Cashews
  • 8-9 Almonds
  • 1 litre Milk
  • 3/4 cup (150 grams) Jaggery
  • 1 Glass water


  • First of all, you have to take jaggery and put it in a bowl along with water. So that the jaggery dissolves. After that, take milk in a vessel keep it boiling, and add some water along with it.
  • After that take cashews and almonds and prepare them by grinding them. After this, take cardamom, peel It, and grind the cardamom seeds well.
  • Now you have to take rice, that too in half a cup, and then wash it thoroughly.
  • Now when the milk comes to a boil, add the rice and mix it, then add the water and then mix it with a spoon.
  • Now when the kheer comes to a boil, reduce the flame and cook for 2-3 minutes while stirring. Be careful to keep stirring the kheer, otherwise, the kheer may stick to the bottom and start burning.
  • Now I had poured water and jaggery into my bowl. Now keep it on the gas, then turn on the gas and dissolve the jaggery. When jaggery dissolves then mix it in kheer.
  • After that, see that the rice becomes soft, then add the ground cardamom, cashew nuts, and almonds in it. Add it to the kheer and mix everything well.
  • Now the kheer is ready. Now let it cool down a bit and then eat it with pleasure.
