Rajma chawal 

First of all, we will make our own Rajma and then after that, we will cook Chawal, Rajma is being prepared first because it takes a lot of time to make Rajma. Rice is made very quickly and quickly. So let’s start making Rajma –

Ingredients to make Rajma-

1 cup Rajma2 tsp salt
1 tsp cumin
tomatoes 4 chopped
turmeric 1 tsp
half teaspoon coriander
1 finely chopped onion
4 tbsp oil
red chili 1 teaspoon
Ginger and Garlic Paste
1 green chili

Rajma steps-

  1. First of all, Rajma has to be washed well so that whatever pebbles or soil is left in it, it will be removed.
    We will put 2 cups of water in a cup of Rajma and keep it for 7-8 hours to swell.
  2. After 7-8 hours, when the kidney beans swell well, then we will take a cooker and put the kidney beans in it.
  3. Together we will put 5 cups of water and 1 teaspoon of salt in the cooker, after that we will put it on the fire to cook.
  4. We will let the kidney beans cook for 3-4 whistles, now we will give the beans to boil.
    Now we will prepare the spice liquid for Rajma, after that we will grind tomato-ginger-onion and garlic inside the mix jar.
  5. After that we will take a pan and put oil in it and let it heat up.
  6. After heating, we will put cumin seeds in it and keep it aside for 10 seconds.
  7. When the cumin seeds start to crackle, then we will put the onion-tomato-ginger-lesson mixture that we had prepared in the pan.
  8. Now we have to cook it for 10 to 15 minutes and cook till the masala starts leaving the oil.
  9. Now we will put salt as per taste in the spices.
  10. When the masala leaves the oil i.e. when everything is cooked well then we will add red chili powder-turmeric powder and coriander powder to it. You can also add your favorite spices.
  11. Now we will put Rajma in the water of Rajma in the pan of roasted spices.
  12. Pay attention that you do not take out the water of Rajma from the cooker at all, otherwise the test will decrease.
  13. Now we will cook Rajma till it boils, if water is used in Rajma, then we can add more water, due to this the masala will go inside Rajma and will dissolve well in Rajma.
  14. After boiling, your kidney beans will be completely ready.

Ingredients for making rice (Basmati Rice)

  • 1 cup basmati rice
  • 1 tsp cumin

Cumin Rice steps-

  1. First of all, the only thing we have to do is to wash the rice properly.
  2. Now we have to take a pan and put some oil in it and heat it.
  3. Now cumin has to be put in it.
  4. When the cumin gets fried or the color of cumin changes, then we will put rice in the pan.
  5. We just have to let the rice cook in the pan for 2 – 4 minutes and keep stirring it.
  6. After 2 -4 minutes we will add 2 cups of water to the rice.
  7. After that you have to add salt.
  8. We have to cook the rice on full flame for 1- 2 minutes and after that the flame has to work
  9. We will cook the rice on low flame for another 5-6 minutes.
  10. Cook the rice so much that there is no water left in it.
  11. After 5-6 minutes the rice is completely ready.
  12. You can also make rice in a cooker.
  13. All you have to do is put oil in the cooker, put cumin seeds in it, after the cumin seeds are fried, add water to the rice and cook till 2 whistles come. Jeera rice is also made from this very good.
